AWW LitSalon on February 9

The second  Antioch Writers' Workshop LitSalon, a fantastic, fun evening in which fellow writers and readers hob-nob with a celebrated author Donna MacMeans, support Antioch Writers' Workshop, and get a tax deduction, will be held on Sunday, February 9 from 4-7 p.m. at Blush Boudoir Photography, 120 N. St. Clair Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402.
Donna MacMeans

Donna MacMeans, author of seductively witty historical romances, including The Casanova Code, Redeeming the Rogue and more, will mingle with guests while they enjoy wine, beer, other beverages and hors d'ouevres. Donna will share the insights, imagination and inspiration that enables her to be an accountant by day and, as she puts it, "rip off the green eye shades" and write fun, witty romance the rest of her time.

Donna's books--perfect for Valentine's Day gift-giving!--will be available for sale, and she'll be glad to autograph copies for you. We'll have a silent auction of Valentine-worthy goodies and books, too! Plenty of time for asking questions of this romance writing master... and for meeting new friends!

Blush Boudoir Photography is owned by Bill Pote, AWW former board member, founder of MostMetro.com, and current chair of the AWW Marketing and Programming Committee. While you won't have to have your photo taken (at least not in a blush-inducing way), you will enjoy the ambiance of this perfect setting for a Valentine's themed LitSalon, a beautifully restored 1830s cottage in downtown Dayton!

The cost of this wonderful evening is $35 per couple or $20 per individual. The LitSalon is limited to a total of 24 individuals. ALL fees go to support scholarships as well as the Young Writers and other programs of the Antioch Writers' Workshop. FIFTY PERCENT of cost is tax deductible; participants will receive a letter stating donation amount.
