AWW Alumni Katrina Kittle Teaching Classes and Young Writers' Workshop


Katrina Kittle--AWW Alumni and author of The Blessings of The Animals (and other award-winning novels)--will be teaching two classes through Word's Worth Writing Center. Her first session, "The Craft of Fiction," runs Thursdays, January 13 - February 17; her second session, "Fiction Workshop," will be weekly in March and April. Katrina will also re-join Antioch Writers' Workshop, July 9-15, 2011 to lead the Young Writers' Seminar. This seminar is especially designed for young writers, ages 15-18 (or having completed 9th-11th grade). Selected young writers receive significant scholarships to attend the Full Week workshop, including all morning classes and the afternoon workshop with Katrina. REMINDER: January's Second Sunday Free Writers' Workshop is just one week away!

Antioch Writers' Workshop is teaming with Books & Co at The Greene to offer a the Second Sunday Free Writers' Workshop each month.

The January speaker will be Becky Morean—published author and Sinclair Community College instructor—who will address the topic, Freeing the Writer Within. If you write—or would like to start writing—this is the perfect session to kick start your 2011 writing goals! The January Second Sunday Free Writers’ Workshop will be held January 9, 2011, 2:00-3:30 p.m. You don’t need a reservation, but it would help with planning if you would call in your intention to attend to Books & Co at The Greene at 937-429-6302.
